Be Part of a Fair and Equitable North End

The recent COVID-19 pandemic increased awareness around disproportionate outcomes among Indigenous people, including African Nova Scotians. Nowhere is this as obvious as in the impacts on the already vulnerable people throughout the city, many of whom reside in the North End. While government programs are being established to assist people, there will inevitably be others who do not meet certain criteria or who otherwise ‘fall through the cracks. Realistically, these needs have existed well before recent events.

The One North End Community Fund has been set up to provide assistance to vulnerable community members. The fund provides small, non-repayable contributions to community members - individuals and families or groups and organizations - in need.
